The fangirling continues apace...
One of these days, I will post about something other than Gerard Way and The Umbrella Academy. Today, however, is not that day. ;)
Neat write-up of Gerard Way and Grant Morrison's ComicCon panel with more detail than I've seen elsewhere. Though I think they're wrong in attributing "It's the X-Men for cool people" to Gerard. I saw that reported as Grant's comment - and it's way too self-congratulatory to be something Gerard would say about his own work.
I finally managed to find a video of part of the panel, here. The clip runs for under two minutes, and Grant and Gerard still manage to fanboy each other adorably. And Grant Morrison has the sort of Scottish accent that makes me wibble. ♥
And finally, there were apparently prototype UA action figures on display at ComicCon.
Yep. It's no secret. Number Five is my favourite member of the Umbrella Academy.
