Eeeeee! ::twirls::
I've just been to the hairdresser's.

Whee!
My Oscar acceptance speech would undoubtedly mention my hairdresser Michael and would further state that I am indebted to
woolly_socks whose pink hair is not only a thing of beauty in itself but is also a shining (and shiny!) inspiration to us less courageous mortals...

I used to get several colors streaked through my hair (golds, reds, burgundys), and it was so fun. Expensive and time-consuming, but fun. And it was always uplifting and made me feel happy. I wish I had a picture of it. :(
Your hair looks fabulous, darling! :)

You wouldn't have the link to the site for making icons like the one in your comment, would you? Because I need to update mine to reflect my new (rectangular) glasses and my BRIGHT hair, and I don't seem to have kept the link.

ETA: I found it! Sometimes, it's good to be sort of organized. :) The Portrait Illustration Maker is where you wanna go.

And no age has to be boring. I think I was about 39 or so when I got my tongue pierced so I know this to be true. ;)

I didn't know you had a tongue piercing! You weren't wearing a stud last Easter, were you? So, well, since it didn't come up in conversation, I suppose there's no way I could know. *g*
The thought of having my tongue pierced makes me go all frowny and say owowow! Wasn't it excrutiating?

I removed the stud a couple of years ago because I chewed on it too much (like I needed another nervous tic!) and it was starting to chip my (already awful) front teeth. But it was fun while it lasted! And the piercing itself (the act) didn't hurt. Afterward, however, was rather uncomfortable for a while. I existed on bananas, instant mashed potatoes, and Slurpees for about 2 weeks. :p

I had a meeting today with the director of human resources at University to discuss my being transferred there because the organisation I was employed with was unexpectedly privatised last week. I don't think the hair was held against me - but I was glad I hadn't opted for blue streaks or anything. *g*
