I'm addicted! Again. Oh dear.

I mean, it's equal parts of DOOOM and squee. Because the first rush through a series, when you start off with a stockpile of episodes that you think will last you nicely into next week and then suddenly you're devouring episodes like there's no tomorrow. It's kind of fun.

The cats wouldn't agree, though. Biscuits for supper because it's quicker than messing around with tinned food. Hell, I'm not eating properly either! And no afternoon nap because, hey, who wants to waste time on sleep when I could be watching Sam and Dean Winchester looking hot, snarking at each other, and salting and burning corpses? Yep. I'm watching Supernatural. And it's all [livejournal.com profile] brynnmck's fault. Heh.

And now it's half past ten, I've lost count of how many episodes I've watched today, and I really REALLY want to watch the next one.

::sigh:: It's an addiction all right.

Yeah, I don't do the Wincest, either. Fortunately for those of us of that persuasion, there's a ton of great gen fic in the fandom, too (though I haven't read much SPN in a while, I will admit--but I do have some recs, if you want once you get about halfway through S2 or so; I don't think I have any stories bookmarked that are spoilery beyond that). Some really fantastic writers.

And thank you! Isn't that icon pretty? I really adore the cinematography in SPN; it's gorgeous even aside from the boys' gorgeousness. :)

Yes please to the recs. And now I can have a look at your fic too. YAY!

I can't wait to get home from work so that I can dive into the next few episodes! Episode 9 is next, in which Dean apparently reveals just what it was that John said to him before he died. I knew it was something about Sam. ::bites fingernails::

I'll say one thing for this show - its continuity is good. It makes me grind my teeth when something is clearly set up by the writers who then proceed to drop the ball and let it roll away into a dark corner, never to be seen again...
