I'm addicted! Again. Oh dear.

I mean, it's equal parts of DOOOM and squee. Because the first rush through a series, when you start off with a stockpile of episodes that you think will last you nicely into next week and then suddenly you're devouring episodes like there's no tomorrow. It's kind of fun.
The cats wouldn't agree, though. Biscuits for supper because it's quicker than messing around with tinned food. Hell, I'm not eating properly either! And no afternoon nap because, hey, who wants to waste time on sleep when I could be watching Sam and Dean Winchester looking hot, snarking at each other, and salting and burning corpses? Yep. I'm watching Supernatural. And it's all
brynnmck's fault. Heh.
And now it's half past ten, I've lost count of how many episodes I've watched today, and I really REALLY want to watch the next one.
::sigh:: It's an addiction all right.

Date: 2008-03-17 10:14 pm (UTC)It's funny - I started out relating more to Sam and thinking that he was definitely the one I was going to fall for. And now I'm up to episode 8 of season 2 and seem to have developed this huge enormous stonking great crush on Dean. Gggnnnnnh!
And I totally took a risk a couple of days ago, when I was only part of the way through the first season and was watching it mainly for the eye candy, and ordered seasons one and two on dvd. I hoped I wasn't making an expensive mistake, since it felt like the show could go either way. And today I feel completely vindicated - yay!
I don't want to be spoiled, but just tell me this, pleasepleaseplease. Season two has been largely AWESOME. I'm hoping the writers have got into their stride and that it continues at this level. Does it? ::holds breath and HOPES::

YES. ♥ ♥ ♥ I'm aware of the whole Wincest thing, but I'm finding that it's enough that they love each other as brothers... And brotherly snark RULES.
The more I think about it, the more I think that, for me anyway, trying to read anything slashy into their relationship would ruin it.
That's a very beautiful icon, BTW.

Date: 2008-03-18 09:26 am (UTC)I can't wait to get home from work so that I can dive into the next few episodes! Episode 9 is next, in which Dean apparently reveals just what it was that John said to him before he died. I knew it was something about Sam. ::bites fingernails::
I'll say one thing for this show - its continuity is good. It makes me grind my teeth when something is clearly set up by the writers who then proceed to drop the ball and let it roll away into a dark corner, never to be seen again...
