Yes, well - what do you expect when you want someone who'll sit beside your bed and read to you when you're not well? *g* Jack Sparrow would be good fling material, but I can't see him sticking around to do the washing up, say. Or the ironing.
We were always going to remove the pellets eventually, but were hoping to postpone an operation until she was stronger. Now she's got over the initial shock, it had probably better be soon. Thankfully, veterinary treatment is still very reasonable here, and this particular vet, apart from being very experienced and well-equipped, charges what are probably the lowest fees on the island. So far it's cost me under Lm20, and that includes last Friday's x-ray and daily injections. So at least I don't have money worries on top of everything else!
