Another coupla steps...

Quick update on the walking front - I did 1.98 km on Friday and another 1.75 km today. That's another 3.73 km! (Editing this entry to post my total distance of 9.48 km.)

I'm particularly pleased about Friday's walking because I would normally have taken the car to go to the pharmacy, bank and video shop, even though it isn't very far. So I felt very virtuous, and rewarded myself by renting Sleepy Hollow. I love the way Johnny Depp totally becomes whatever character he's playing. Though I did spot a tiny little hint of Jack Sparrow in Ichabod Crane. Seriously! LOL. It's in the scene where he's introduced to his horse, and then has to suddenly leap onto its back and canter off to investigate another body. The horse heads off in completely the wrong direction, and as he somehow gets it to go the right way, he can be heard muttering "good horsy" to it. It just cracked me up, he sounds so Jack Sparrow-ish!
