rosiespark: (boy and dog)
I've just watched the second half of FotR - saw the first half yesterday. And it's still as good as ever, if not even better for the two month interval since my last viewing. Peter Jackson, I salute you!

Quick Pixel update - she's a lot better. She had her last antibiotic injection two days ago, she's off the painkillers, and I don't have to take her back to the vet till Tuesday, which both Pix and me consider to be the best news in ages. *g* I'm a bit worried that something is not quite right with her jaw or throat, since she still seems to be having trouble eating. She eats such tiny amounts before stopping and walking away from her food bowl. It could still be a (hopefully temporary) effect of the shot wounds and/or the unsuccessful attempt at locating the elusive bullet. Will consult the vet about it on Tuesday if it still seems to be bothering her.

And now I must go to bed, since I have someone coming at nine tomorrow morning to see about fencing the roof in so that Pixel can't wander. I have an idea about how to do it while still letting Pablo and Billy go further afield. They are better jumpers than Pixel is, thanks to her wonky back leg. Fingers crossed that it's doable and not hugely expensive...

ETA: Oops! Forgot to say thank you to [livejournal.com profile] angel_elf_icons for the bases.
