Help! What's going on?

Aaargh! I am going mad with frustration!

My stupid stupid computer won't let me post comments on lj. I can write comments, but it doesn't give me the option to preview or post them, i.e. pretty useless. The "post" and "preview" buttons just aren't there any more. I'm starting to wonder whether it's the computer or whether I've gone mad...

I've tried disabling the cookies shield on my spyware (spy sweeper) and I've tried lowering the security and privacy settings in my browser (Internet Explorer). Nothing works.

Is there anything I can do to sort this out, does anyone know? And is there any other way of posting comments? I'm assuming that formatting the hard drives and reinstalling Windows is the ultimate solution, but that can't be done before Sunday and in the meantime it's driving me up the wall.
