MCR meme - day 4

I quite like Danger Days but I don't feel I ever really got it - I never went through the magical stage where you can't listen to anything else and each consecutive listen adds to the joy and wonder as you start to recognise more and more of this fantastic new material you're hearing. It's sad because this was MCR's first album release after I discovered them in early 2008, and I really wanted to fall in love with it. I wonder if too much anticipation is what ruined it for me. yekith had a similar experience with TBP, so I'd be interested to know, did it happen to anyone else?
It's not that I don't enjoy listening to this album - but it's a very different, lower key sort of enjoyment. Let's just say that, unlike with Revenge and TBP, the earth doesn't move for me. *sigh*
My favourite track is probably Planetary (Go!). I like the beat and the energy. And maybe it's not a coincidence that it's one of the few songs where the title doesn't appear in the lyrics. LOL, how predictable am I?
