Sadly enough, I haven't seen Great Expectations. We used to get some British television programmes here, but not any more. And I don't have cable. Actually, my television is connected to the video and dvd players, and to the power socket. And not to anything else. A setup I apparently share with Viggo Mortensen.
I almost ordered Solomon and Gaenor on dvd yesterday, and was only restrained by the thought of sliding into bancruptcy and not being able to feed my cats. ::heaves dramatic sigh:: It's not available in European format, so it's lucky my dvd player is multiregion. So if I decide to get it, I'll probably not be able to resist adding The English Patient special edition, also only avaialble from the US, to the order - the economies of scale, you know. ;) TEP is one of my favourite films (Ralph Fiennes! Kristin Scott Thomas!) and I only have it on video. Oops, what was I saying about bankruptcy..?
It's almost time to leave the office - as soon as I get home, I'm going to take the phone off the hook and settle down on the sofa with Horatio and Archie. *g* If only!
