Hrm...I guess you couldn't distinguish between those two types of feelings in their situation. It's really interesting to me the different types of ideas people have about them...I love talking about it.
Lancelot probably would be happier in the arms of some girl...hehehee but only for a short time. I think he relishes the contact and complication of his and Arthur's relationship. At least I would like to hope- he would find it stimualating and challenging enough to not be able to draw away. *shrug* Not sure.
And I agree with you about Guin...mho about her was that she did end up loving Arthur in her way...but in the beginning she just wanted someone to help her achieve her goals, be it Lancelot or Arthur. esp. if you listen to the conversations she has with the two men about the land- they are both very similar.
