Half my bookmarks have vanished. All the folders starting with letters after "e" are gone. I'm staring at the screen going "But they can't just go like that".
Waaah!
My Hornblower fic recs - filed under "hh", of course. Gone.
This is all a bad dream. It must be. Someone poke me and wake me up.
ETA: Disaster averted. I haven't lost everything, merely any bookmarks I added to the vanished folders after the 7th July. I had a backup on cd from the last time the c-drive was formatted. Whew!
Am still boggled as to how it happened, though. Hmph.
