Fic in progress! Writer's block in remission!

I have just over 1,300 words of Hornblower brig!fic. Missing scene set during Mutiny - that's what I seem to be able to write, filling in holes in canon. There's a joke there somewhere, involving canon and cannon and holes, but much in the same way as happens to Jack Aubrey, it's hovering just out of reach.

::yawns hugely:: I've got to the point where the return for staying up any longer isn't worth the lack of sleep, so reluctantly, and hoping fervently that the muse sticks around till tomorrow at least, I'm going to bed. Goodnight, all!
