This pic is currently rendering me speechless. More from the same occasion are linked here on [livejournal.com profile] crumpeteers.

Excuse me while I go and wibble some more.

Interesting. Didn't know little puddles of drool could wave.

Speaking, of course, as one puddle of drool to another. *g*

Now you see, I like him better here than with his shirt off. I like em ... well, I like ...

I like `em small.

What's the opposite of a size queen, anyway?

He's not even small; he's an inch or so taller than me, and I'm average male height. But ... he just looks like one of those pocket darlings that I like so much. :-}

I do like him shirtless, but it's because he's still Jamie - brainless brawn doesn't do it for me at all.

However tall (or small) he is, it's the perfect height. Oh dear, can you tell that I'm smitten? *g* I think he's compact and...well-proportioned. Not gangly. Added to which he still looks boyish - and probably always will. Even when he eventually goes grey. As long as he doesn't lose his hair. Oops, forget I said that.

I don't actually think he's small. But then I'm not very tall myself...

he just looks like one of those pocket darlings that I like so much.

::chortles:: Examples, please?

And "pocket darling" is reminding of a term that a Welsh friend of my boss's uses to describe Maltese men: pocket Hercules. My (male) boss is included in this description. It's intended to be slightly derogatory - pocket darling is nicer. *g*

Brawn in general doesn't do it for me. I mean healthy is nice. But I like compact, my height at most, boyish.

Okay now that I think about it, maybe the queer chick shouldn't be the one to describe what she finds appealing in male eye candy ... >-D

LOL. Are you sure you're queer? I mean, Jamie's not the most macho of men (and that's not a putdown), but he's definitely boy.

I know I'd take Jamie home without a second thought. Oh yesss, precioussss.

And if I didn't live in such a rigidly conservative and insular society (bah!), I'd consider bringing home a woman or two to try on. ::sigh:: Thank god for lj where I can say things like that without anyone batting an eyelid.

Very tasty. That's an odd expression, isn't it--"rocks my socks".

Yes. *sigh*

For a minute there I thought "odd expression" was referring to Jamie. *g*

It is an odd expression. It would be interesting to find out where it comes from. My suggestion would be that it's a euphemism for the other (body)parts being affected - rocked socks being more acceptable in polite conversation than the alternatives. ;)

Or maybe sock/suck my rocks? I did a quick search but couldn't find anything. I think it's a fairly recent expression, perhaps just a variant of "knock your socks off". There's also an Australian expression--"wouldn't it rot your socks?", which implies disappointment, I believe. And my favourite--bless your little cotton socks. Perhaps we're simply sock-obsessed. :)

Surely this calls for Frodo's blue fluffy sock icon?

Indeed it does. I've certainly got a sock fetish; don't know about anyone else.

He looks great, but tired. I want to take him home and feed him and tuck him into bed. ;) ;) Love those eyes.

A bit tired, maybe, but incredibly alive. I imagine doing live theatre every night must be hugely exhilarating!

He's not my type but I have to give those eyes some credit. The smile is priceless.

Funny thing is, I didn't think he was my type either. I started watching Hornblower and was utterly enthralled by Ioan Gryffydd - as expected. He's the Hero. :) Then this other character came along and caught my eye, and before I knew it, I was in full-blown obsession mode...

It's not just the eyes and the smile - he's intelligent, articulate, funny and really nice - as well as gorgeous. And a good actor. ;) Irresistable!
