I have new shoes.






I think the reason I'm so ridiculously pleased with them is that they're girlie shoes. Considering my feet mostly live in boots or Birkenstocks or flipflops, pretty feminine shoes make a nice change. And they surprised me by being not uncomfortable. Yet.

This is probably my most frivolous post ever. Blame it on the heat. I think my brain is being stewed in its own juices. Ewwww!

Nothing like pretty summer shoes to make you feel better about summer heat! And they look comfortable, too. :)

I'm currently obsessed with finding a perfect pair of blue/green summer shoes with a relatively low heel. I have finicky feet, long, narrow, rebelling against straps of any sort (especially ankle straps). The bastards are depriving me of some very pretty shoes. But the summer is just starting, so all is not lost. Yes!

I'm not completely convinced about their comfortableness but will probably try wearing them to work tomorrow. And will certainly wear them on Thurs when we are interviewing a potential new staff member.

Good luck with your shoe hunt! I rarely find what I'm specifically looking for, and usually end up buying something quite different on the principle that I'd never find this alternative pair if I was actually looking for it. Case in point: I wanted flattish back strappy sandals on Saturday. *g*

Good point. I try to avoid shopping when I'm desperate, and instead pick up things throughout the year. Because when you really need something, it's never there. Grr.
