[livejournal.com profile] fajrdrako and I are having our own Ninth Doctor squeefest. We were both missing Nine (and the brilliant wonderful Christopher Eccleston) and the logical answer was a synchronised re-watch of Nine's (unfortunately brief) run of episodes. You are all welcome to bring your own squee to the party!

This is how it will work: we'll post the time when we'll be watching an episode and then one of us will host the discussion on our lj, taking it in turns. I lost the coin toss, so head over for discussion of Rose on [livejournal.com profile] fajrdrako's journal, starting any time in the next hour or so.

I will try and provide more notice (promise!) for the next episode for anyone who wants to do the synchronised watching thing. Please feel free to join in, even if you haven't just watched the episode. Though we're hoping that some of you may want to leap right in - the more people involved in Nine-watching, the happier our little corner of the fandom will be!

How long do you think we should wait between episodes, before starting on the next one?

Um, would you mind if we give it a few days? I feel I'm still way behind on comments on Rose!

I'm not doing too well at life at the moment. ::is tired:: If I still feel drained tomorrow morning, I'll seriously consider staying home and seeing if that helps.

Oh, I'm not advocating moving quickly! Just wondered what you thought about the timeframe we should use. An episode per week? An episode every two weeks? If we leave too long we might lose momentum, but we don't want to move too fast and rush outselves either. I'm sure I'll have plenty of afterthoughts in any case. Will I have much to say about "The Unquiet Dead"? I think not, but we shall see. [Note: I'm not good at not having things to say.]

I'm not doing so well this week either. I have a head cold that is currently in the rather painful stage of tight headache/congestion, and I have menstrual cramps at the same time (I suspect some kind of symbiotic internal sadism is involved) and I was totally useless at work today. But it's a really, really bad time to take time off because I don't want them to know I'm behind on things. (Erk!)

Makes me grumpy.

And I'm tired too because the head cold is interfering with sleep.

And I wanted to post something to [livejournal.com profile] oxoniensis's porn challenge on Wednesday but probably won't be ready. And at least will not be able to polish it as I'd like. (I know, most people don't feel the need to polish porn, but I do.)

Okay, end of complaints.... for now.

I hope you feel better tomorrow!
