Snap-happy on Sunday morning!

Sticking to yesterday's topics of food and Billy, I can't resist posting a couple of pics:




Ingredients: assorted salad leaves (prewashed in a bag), cherry tomatoes, green pepper, cucumber, olives, tuna in olive oil, and butter beans in oil and garlic. Dressing of extra virgin olive oil and balsamic vinegar (2:1) with a pinch of salt, another pinch of sugar and some freshly ground black pepper. Yummy!

And Billy demanded that I take immediate steps to correct any mistaken impressions resulting from yesterday's disgustingly sweet baby picture.

Those are the biggest butter beans I've ever seen! Great looking salad. And tell Billy that I'm totally sure he's a big, butch boy now. (But what a cute little piece of fuzz he used to be! eeeeee)

Thank you! It satisfied my sense of aesthetics as well as tasting good. *g*

And big, butch boy though Billy may be, he still sucks the fur on his chest when we're having a cuddle. When my mum found him as a tiny kitten, the fur on his tummy was in little stiff spikes, and it took us a couple of days to realise that the poor abandoned baby was sucking his own fur for comfort... Now that he's older and not quite so bendy, it's his chest rather than his stomach. And only in moments of great abandon and affection. He kneads me too - he's a real sweetie.

It's actually mostly fur and the photo's deceptive - but it suited my evil purposes. *g* And while he is eating more than usual, I think it's all going towards growing his winter coat!

Yeah with Honey's it's mostly hair too cause sometimes she looks so chubby lying down and I harass her about it and then I pick her up and she's the tiniest thing!

That salad looks WAY yummier than the tuna salad I had for dinner the last two nights. I think I need to make another trip. ;)

I agree that you should definitely visit again! I promise to make you pretty salads and Billy promises not to eat you. As long as I feed him, that is.

Seriously, I would love it if you came and stayed again - next year, maybe? There's lots more of Malta to explore, and favourite places to revisit - and more pretty waiters to experience. *g*

How're your babies, BTW? Pics, please, if you have any recent ones! And would you be able to find someone to look after them while you were in Malta?
