Q. Combine all 4 of the above words into a single sentence. Extra points if your sentence describes a real-life situation.

A. I have just been out in the rain, at midnight, carrying a shoebox containing a rescued frog which was otherwise destined to be a cats' plaything for the rest of its short and unhappy life.

Extra points please.

PS Billy's latest nickname is Froghammer.

I do my best! Previous rescues have included birds, mice, geckos and snakes. The cockroaches have always been dead by the time I've found them, so I haven't had to wrestle with my conscience about whether the only good cockroach is a dead one...

Oh man. You definitely deserve extra points. And boo for Billy.

Did I ever tell you how Mr.Gimlet Eye brought garter snakes (twice). I rescued them, but damn, I was SO NOT AMUSED! Let's just say there was a lot of undignified squealing and dropping of said reptiles (I've never picked up a snake before). [shudders] Brr.

I hope you didn't get cold and wet.

I've decided it's his way of telling me I don't feed him enough. *sigh*

I've rescued snakes but without picking them up. But there was an incident in the kitchen with another frog that may have involved shrieking and a panicked retreat when it jumped onto my foot...

Not that lame - I was being clueless. Sorry!

Except that Roger (who the fuck is Roger?) is not so much pointing as firing a hand gun. *g*

LOL! It's Roger Taylor, the drummer from Duran Duran.

And it was the closest icon I had with a real 'point' on it. :)

Oh, that Roger. *g*

I was quite into Duran Duran at one point in my teens, though Seven and the Ragged Tiger was the only album of theirs I actually owned. Listening to it again recently made me feel quite nostalgic. ::mourns vanished youth::
