ying in bed last night while trying to get to sleep, I was visited, out of nowhere, by the irresistable urge to listen to Paul Gross's Voodoo. Inexplicable but completely irresistable. And yes, I do have it on my mp3 player. What does that say about me?

Rather more alarming is the fact that, without rewatching it, I could precisely identify at least one of the times when he does Paul Gross Arms ^TM in the music video

"I put it down to the curse of love, I put it down to fate, HEY!"

im just going to throw this out there, because watching Paul [try to?] be a rockstar is so awesome/funny/painful:

imagine CALLUM as a rock star. not pathetically pretending he knows how to play guitar, but singing and being all serious and genuine and rockstar-y, belting out some song right into the camera. cringing yet? ;) i couldnt watch him do it. i just couldnt.

[better yet, imagine him covering one of the horrible songs that Bruce Willis or Eddie Murphy did during THEIR misguided attempts at rockstarring] heeeeeeeeeee!

It's funny, watching it again after a loooong time, it impressed me with quite how very BAAAAD it is. In a kind of Fraser-y "so bad is good?" sort of way. Hee.

I've arranged with commodorified, iclysdale and auriaephiala to go for a walk tomorrow afternoon (assuming weather conditions make it possible) and then come back to my place for a comforting hot chocolate and to watch the pilot of Due South. Now that I have the episodes.

Then I can, with luck, participate in nina_ds's discussion of the same. (Yes, I am insane, overextended, overtired, and overambitious. You knew that already, right?)
