Messianic poses, tight trousers ...and a tambourine

It all started when nokomis305 brightened my morning with this pic that I'm reposting here of one of Gerard's favourite poses. The outflung arm with the mic, the cocked hip, the little smirky smile on his face all conspire to reduce me to a happy puddle of goo...



Now I have a fairly (cough cough) extensive collection of MCR pictures which are just crying out to be picspammed...


Favourite pose WITH ADDED SPARKLES - yay! And is he about to blow a kiss to the crowd? Lucky crowd!



Messianic or what? The crowd seem to think so...



Well, MCR is a band that wants to save your life.

Though sometimes I think Gerard just strikes poses. For the fun of it! Like this:



And sometimes he just loves the whole world and wants everyone to know!



Returning to the religious theme, the lighting in these shots is pretty awesome, making him look both transfixed and transfigured.





And the Lord God commanded the Faithful to follow the Path of the Light - straight to Gerard's crotch. Erm...



Leaving aside paths of illumination, divine or otherwise, the above pic shows what I call his rabble-rousing stance. There are several variations of this, such as:



What are you doing, Gerard? Conducting the crowd with two middle fingers?

Then there's revolutionary Gerard in his flak jacket, making impassioned speeches to the masses from atop the barricades...



And again - but are the crowd rallying behind his cause or are they mesmerised by his impossibly tight trousers? Gerard's trousers are PAINTED on, YAY!

The fourth one, and the fourth pic from the end, are currently doing it for me... Especially since the "more today" allegedly goes with the "I love you" that Lyn-Z was sporting on her neck or her arm on the same day. Projekt Revolution was where they hooked up again, wasn't it? And then got married backstage. IN MATCHING UNICORN T-SHIRTS. ♥♥♥♥♥

(1) I can think of lots worse incentives to religion than Gerard's crotch.

(2) I think my favourite is the second but it's hard to choose. I'll have to stare for a long time before I pick #2.

Your favourite pic is similar to the one I posted for your birthday - but the angle and his pose in this one are even better somehow. And he's wearing less - always a Good Idea. :)

I think my current favourite is the "more today" one, just because he looks so into it - the look on his face is making me think filthy thoughts...

I'm at work so I can't look at the vid yet. (Not that I wouldn't anyway, but my computer here won't play vids properly. Grump.) Anothing thing to watch tonight - something to look forward to.

I did only have six icons, then I got greedy and opted for more. Now I'm spoilt for choice, and keep switching. Not that I didn't switch all the time anyway. I'm a bit of an icon junkie. I make them too, but I never end up using the ones I make.

OMG, I MUST GO TO BED. It appears that I am constitutionally incapable of getting to bed at a reasonable time, no matter how tired I am. In fact, I think it's WORSE when I'm really tired because then I lack even the initiative to get up and walk upstairs... ::iz made of SPECTACULAR fail::

Re going to bed: I have the same problem usually, but for some reason, since starting my new high-on-vegetables diet, it's been easy. Not because I'm tired but because I've become more focussed somehow. Feeling better. (Crossing my fingers and hoping it lasts!)

And yes, I have more trouble going to bed when I'm tired because... I don't know why: because it's easier to play solitaire or bedazzled than to move? because it feels like giving in?

I hope I can remain *focussed* and get to bed reasonably early tonight, too.

Treating myself to some MCR as I do, maybe.

Now, having said how much more energy I have - I'm going to have a quick nap.
