A cold. Ugh. I was feeling too dreadful to go to work this morning, so have been lounging on the sofa with Jack Absolute and a cat, and am just about to make a cup of tea and return to the sofa. In spite of my stuffy head, aching limbs and nose that's dripping like a tap, the morning isn't shaping up too badly after all. :)

Now if only the people next door, who are having their house done up, would stop thumping on the walls...

Jack Absolute! That swashbuckling napoleonic bodice-ripper! I knew I was hooked on it when I encountered Pellew. My favourite I-Feel-Sick cure has always been tea, toast with honey, and the Princess Bride...it's nice to just have a reason to curl up sometimes. Feel better soon!

Ooh, yes. What a wonderful idea! Will definitely have some later. I have German honey that's a bit bland, and thyme honey and citrus honey from Sicily that are just delicious. Yes, I'm a bit of a honey nut - I always try and bring some back with me when I go abroad, despite the weight. And fajrdrako went home this morning with a jar of Gozitan honey in her luggage...
