A cold. Ugh. I was feeling too dreadful to go to work this morning, so have been lounging on the sofa with Jack Absolute and a cat, and am just about to make a cup of tea and return to the sofa. In spite of my stuffy head, aching limbs and nose that's dripping like a tap, the morning isn't shaping up too badly after all. :)
Now if only the people next door, who are having their house done up, would stop thumping on the walls...

Date: 2005-11-02 01:51 pm (UTC)I rifled my food cupboards and came up with some asparagus cup-a-soup with a best-before date of June 2005. That was my lunch. So far so good.
Then my mum came over with a tin of chicken soup - only it turned out to have expired last March....
Your chicken noodle soup would be most welcome. :)
